A DART paratransit van rolled onto its side in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Dallas early Tuesday morning, leaving two people hospitalized, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
The incident was reported at approximately 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Webb Chapel Road and Forest Lane. Emergency crews responded to the scene where the DART paratransit vehicle had overturned following a collision with another vehicle.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit confirmed the rollover crash involved two vehicles. Officials have not yet determined which vehicle struck the other as the investigation remains ongoing.
A DART passenger and the paratransit driver were both transported to a hospital following the crash. The severity of their injuries has not been officially disclosed at this time.
Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel were on scene to assist the injured and manage the immediate aftermath of the collision. The cause of the crash is under investigation by local authorities.
