A school bus overturned in a single-vehicle crash in Sanger Thursday evening, prompting an emergency response from local fire and police units, city officials confirmed.
Sanger Fire Department and Sanger Police Department were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:55 p.m. following reports of the accident. The crash occurred at the intersection of Huling Road and Lois Road East in Denton County.
Sanger City Manager John Noblitt confirmed the incident in an official statement released shortly after emergency crews arrived. Aerial footage captured by Texas Sky Ranger showed the bus resting on its side at the crash site.
The cause of the rollover has not been determined and no information has been released regarding what type of bus was involved or whether students were aboard at the time. It remains unclear whether any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
