A 15-year-old girl walking through a Johnson County neighborhood narrowly escaped a violent abduction attempt after a man grabbed her and tried to force her inside his vehicle, only to be stopped when nearby witnesses stepped in to intervene, according to Keene police.
,The incident unfolded around 1:10 p.m. in the 300 block of Greenbriar when a man approached the teenager, briefly spoke with her, then physically grabbed her and attempted to push her into his SUV.,

Following the incident, law enforcement launched a search for the suspect. ,Authorities tracked down and arrested 28-year-old Carlos Cuevas-Ruiz of Cleburne in the 9400 block of Silver Creek Road in Fort Worth.,
,Cuevas-Ruiz was transported to the Johnson County Jail where he now faces a charge of criminal attempted kidnapping.,
