Fatal Electrocution Incident Claims One Life and Leaves Another Critical in South Fort Worth

A tragic industrial accident occurred on Friday afternoon, April 10, 2026, resulting in the death of one laborer and leaving a colleague in a life-threatening state. Emergency teams from the Fort Worth Fire Department arrived at a gas station located at 3823 East Loop 820 around 1:40 p.m. following reports of an electrocution.

Preliminary details indicate that the two individuals were operating from a bucket truck in close proximity to high-voltage power lines when the contact occurred. Both victims were rushed to a nearby medical facility in critical condition; however, one was later confirmed deceased. The identity of the worker who passed away has not yet been disclosed as officials wait to inform their family. An investigation into the specific cause of the mishap is currently underway.
