A Hebron High School employee has become the subject of arrest warrants tied to serious charges involving a child, prompting Lewisville ISD to alert families across the district.

The Carrollton Police Department notified school officials that warrants were issued for Gloria Resendiz on charges of indecency with a child by sexual contact and child grooming as part of an active investigation.

Resendiz has been placed on administrative leave and is barred from setting foot on any Lewisville ISD campus or facility. The district made clear that this restriction is strictly enforced while the investigation remains ongoing.

Lewisville ISD stated it is fully cooperating with Carrollton police and directed all questions related to the case to the department. School officials said they do not have additional details about the specific circumstances surrounding the allegations.

Families were urged to contact Carrollton police or a trusted adult at school if they or their children have any information that could be relevant to the investigation. School counselors at Hebron High School have been made available to provide support to students and staff affected by the situation.

The charges against Resendiz are serious criminal offenses under Texas law. Child grooming and indecency with a child by sexual contact can carry significant prison sentences upon conviction.

Authorities have not publicly disclosed the full scope of the alleged conduct or identified any victims at this time. The investigation is continuing and further developments are expected as Carrollton police proceed with their case.
