Two firefighters were transported to a hospital Tuesday evening after battling a house fire on Ranch Estates Road in Aubrey, Texas. Their conditions and the nature of their injuries have not yet been released by officials.
The fire was reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. and drew a significant emergency response from multiple agencies who arrived to assist the Aubrey Fire Department in bringing the blaze under control.
In addition to the two firefighters who were hospitalized, one civilian was treated at the scene by medical personnel. It remains unclear whether that individual was a resident of the home or someone else present at the location.
Investigators have not yet confirmed whether anyone was inside the structure when the fire broke out. The cause of the fire is also unknown at this time as crews continue to assess the scene.
