A hazing investigation at Boyd High School has resulted in felony charges against four students following an alleged incident that took place inside the school’s field house earlier this month.
According to Boyd Police Department, the incident occurred on September 3. The investigation led authorities to identify four students believed to be involved in the alleged hazing.
Two of the suspects are juveniles whose identities are protected under Texas law. The remaining two suspects have been identified as 17-year-olds Chason Tucker and Noah Stevens, both of whom are being prosecuted as adults.
Tucker and Stevens each face charges of unlawful restraint and injury to a child. These are serious felony offenses that carry significant legal consequences under Texas law.
Hazing incidents in school settings have increasingly drawn scrutiny from law enforcement and school administrators across the state. When such incidents result in physical harm or unlawful confinement, they can quickly escalate from school disciplinary matters to criminal prosecutions.
Boyd ISD has not yet issued a public statement regarding the charges or any disciplinary actions taken against the students involved. It is unclear at this time whether the incident was initially reported by a student, school staff, or another party.
