California Logistics Hub Devastated by Massive Blaze

A catastrophic fire, suspected by officials to be a deliberate act of arson, has decimated a massive 1.2 million-square-foot distribution center in Ontario, California. The facility, which was under lease by the personal care giant Kimberly-Clark, served as a vital supply hub for approximately 50 million residents across the Western United States.

Despite the scale of the six-alarm inferno, approximately 20 employees present during the early morning hours managed to evacuate safely without injury. Industry experts warn that the loss of this warehouse—which housed essential paper goods like Cottonelle, Kleenex, and Huggies—could trigger significant regional supply chain disruptions and an increase in logistics costs.

Local fire departments are currently investigating the origin of the blaze while the company assesses the long-term impact on its West Coast operations.
