Dallas Police Hunt Serial Robbery Suspects After Oak Cliff Convenience Store Targeted Three Times
Dallas police are urgently calling on the public to help identify a group of armed robbery suspects who have repeatedly targeted the same East Oak Cliff convenience store in a brazen pattern of crime that has left employees shaken and fearful for their safety.
,Friendly Food Mart in East Oak Cliff has been hit by armed robbers three times since the beginning of June 2026., Investigators believe the same suspects are responsible for each incident and are growing increasingly bold with every strike.
,The store was robbed on June 20 then again on June 26 and a third time on July 9., The repeated targeting of the same location within such a short window has alarmed both law enforcement and the surrounding community.
,In all three incidents the suspects struck as the cashier was closing for the night. During the most recent robbery a security guard who had been hired to protect the store was also robbed.,
According to DPD Robbery Detective Jose Jimenez the emotional toll on store workers has been severe. Employees described feeling trapped and terrified in their own workplace. The situation became so alarming that management brought in private security in an attempt to protect staff but that effort did little to deter the suspects during the July 9 incident.
The first robbery involved a single armed suspect. The two subsequent incidents each involved a pair of individuals who entered the store carrying firearms and forced employees to reopen the business at gunpoint before stealing cash from the register.
,Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying one of the suspects from the July 9 robbery who was caught on surveillance video without a mask., ,Detectives are hopeful that footage will lead to a positive identification.,
,No injuries were reported in any of the three incidents, though the psychological impact on workers and neighbors has been significant. Members of a nearby church told reporters they have taken extra precautions and increased their own security measures in response to the ongoing threat in the area.
Community members near Cedar Crest Boulevard believe someone in the neighborhood has information that could break the case open. Residents expressed confidence that the suspects would be recognized given the surveillance footage now in circulation.
,The three incidents are being investigated under case numbers 089608-2026 and 092943-2026 and 100121-2026.,
,The Dallas Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance to identify suspects seen robbing the business multiple times in the 2200 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard., Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Jose Jimenez directly at 972-922-8659.
