A shooting in Forest Hill claimed one life and left another person injured Sunday evening, prompting a police investigation that remains active as authorities work to piece together what occurred.
Officers with the Forest Hill Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 4200 block of Bowling Green Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting at the location.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered one victim who was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was found injured and required medical attention.
The Forest Hill police chief confirmed that investigators are actively working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deadly incident. A third individual believed to have been present during the shooting has not yet been located by authorities.
