Woman Killed After Suspect Rams Car Into Crowd Outside Dallas Business; Three Others Injured

A woman is dead and three others were injured early Friday after a suspect intentionally drove a car into a group of people in a parking lot in north Dallas, police said.

Dallas Police responded at approximately 4:20 a.m. on April 17, 2026, to the 3300 block of East Trinity Mills Road following a 911 call reporting a disturbance and a request for an ambulance.

According to investigators, a fight between two groups of people that had started inside a nearby business spilled into the parking lot. At some point during the altercation, a female suspect got into her car and drove it into the crowd.

One victim, identified as 32-year-old Kiara Lewis, was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a local hospital in critical condition. She later died from her injuries. Two other female victims and one male victim were also struck. They were taken to a hospital by private vehicle and were subsequently released.

As of Saturday, April 18, no arrests have been made. The female suspect has not been publicly identified. The investigation is ongoing under Dallas Police case number 054368-2026.
